Candy Holder and A Card

Hiya,

Wow …what a Saturday it was …Every year 26th Nov. is a special day for me and our family. It’s my sweeeeet nephew’s birthday. Last few days went away in preparing for his birthday party. He turned 6 this year. Time runs away so fast my god. We had a great party yesterday. We enjoyed a lot.  Played games, dance and ate yummy food. Full on masti.
My nephew is fond of paper crafting specially cutting papers with my scissors and gluing them in his craft book. I always craft at night when he is sleeping . He asked me to make something for him. So I  made a candy holder for him and gifted him. He liked it soooo much.
I made a caterpillar in front of this candy holder from the circles cut from the patterned paper used in side walls. Entering this for ICR Challenge12  and Kavitha's Hanging Out Challenge

I also made a card for him. Everything in this card is hand cut except the two form gift stickers.I also wanted to submit my entry for Crafty JC Challenge, so i made card keeping in mind the color pallette #3. I never restricted myself with colors or any other thing while making my project. I just use what i think is best suited.
But really it was fun making this card. Entering this card for Craft JC Challenge Pallette#3.

Thanks crafters for visiting

Paper Jewellery from scraps

Hi All,

Today's post is about making use of pattern paper scraps. There are many ways to use paper scraps.
And one way that i think is to make jewellery out of them. It's little time comsuming but result is soooo amazing.
Let's see how i did it-
I took some leftover scraps.

You can also join different types of small paper scraps to get a long paper to make bead. Then cut it in the following shape-

Then with quilling tool I rolled them down till end. Glue the end.

This is how I made beads. They look so beautiful. I made approx. 10-15 beads.

Now you can arrange them into the shape you like. Add a jewellery thread or a thicker cord to it. And this is the final result-

And this will go for Priya's Challenge.

You can also combine multicoloured beads. That also looks nice-

 Hope u enjoyed this post.
Thanks For Visiting!!!
